The Editors

The Editors

Help Writer 2016 comes with two different editors for the authors to use to create the topics for their help files. One is a visaul wysiwyg editor. Its been programmed with the Web Browser control that comes with Visual Studio to become an editor. With it you can write the files as if you're writing in WORD. It will show the document as its going to look in your help file as much as it can. The window will naturally be a different size and the text will change accordingly.

The second is a code editor. It is for those that like bare minimum editors. It has no wysiwyg capacity at all. Its just a textbox and waits for the input for everything that is included in the body tags. It has two windows. First is the HTML window and the second is a CSS window. You write these with HTML and CSS code in the two windows. The CSS portion is shared across the HELP WRITER project.
